This Privacy Policy explains how InvoiceKit ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and stores information when you purchase or use InvoiceKit Pro.

01Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to deliver your license:

• Email address — provided at checkout, used to deliver your license key and validate your activation.
• Installation identifier — a randomly generated ID stored locally in your browser, used to track how many devices your license is active on. It is not linked to your identity.
• Transaction ID — provided by Paddle to identify your purchase. Used for support purposes only.

We do not collect your name, payment card details, IP address, or any usage data from within the extension. Invoice and contract data you create stays entirely on your own device — it is never sent to our servers.

02How We Use Your Information

• To send your license key to your email address after purchase.
• To validate your license when you activate the extension.
• To enforce the single-user restriction of your license (seat limit).
• To respond to support requests you initiate.

We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or promotional content unless you explicitly opt in.

03Third-Party Services

Paddle — processes your payment and acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle's Privacy Policy governs data collected during checkout.

Supabase — stores your email address, license key, and installation identifiers in a secure database. Data is stored in the EU/US region. Supabase's Privacy Policy applies.

Resend — used to deliver your license key email. Resend's Privacy Policy applies to email delivery.

04Data Retention

Your email address and license record are retained for as long as your license is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days and your license will be deactivated.

05Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR including the right to erasure and data portability.

06Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted database storage and HTTPS for all data in transit. License validation calls are made over HTTPS only.

07Children

InvoiceKit Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

08Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email if we have your address on file.
